GLEN SILLY SAUSAGE

A new piece of wandering havering doodling automata is in the RSA Annual show until June 8th. It’s been a fun one, no preplanning apart from to avoid large bits of black. The big beardy face came from within the varnish but also is based on the memory of a bald, tanned, grey bearded stranger that ran down the side of Glen Nevis towards us. The cliffy pines in the lower right are based on that area and are my favourite bit of Scottish landscape…I think. I was thinking about Taiwan and temples and dragons too. Quite hard to know where to finish but it was a fun play ground.
